Trainer Spotlight: Patrice Paden Martin

Patrice is a leader and facilitator known for her creativity, passion and positivity, who is driven by her desire to help others do big things and make an epic impact. She has 24 years’ experience in human resources, training and development. Patrice began her professional career in residential, retail and commercial property management, though more recently worked in the hospitality, restaurant and retail industries with several Fortune 500 companies. She builds strong relationships as a coach and a mentor, consistently motivating others towards success. She has devoted her career to learning and development, inspiring leaders at every level to be their very best.

Patrice designs, develops and facilitates a variety of different learning programs and has helped several businesses develop customized competency models, career roadmaps, talent reviews and succession plans. Patrice is passionate about her message and embraces the uniqueness in every audience. She has facilitated thousands of workshops and presentations and is in high demand. Patrice works with groups from 10 to 1,000 or more, leaving them motivated and empowered to live with passion, purpose, and power.

Patrice earned her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Cabrini University in Philadelphia. Originally from Philadelphia, she spent 17 years in Southern California, and with a recent move, now resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas with her husband, Scott; her son, Nick (14); and her sister, Michelle. When her head is not deep in a book (or her kindle!), she enjoys spending time with her family, writing, hiking, taking trips to museums, listening to live music and painting. She volunteers to serve the needy through orphan care, the motel ministry and career services for job seekers. She is also assisting her church with development of small group study curriculum and leader training and working on a blog she plans to launch called, “Joy Mentor.”
